Expeditions are for those ready to venture higher than 6000m.
We offer you the chance to take part in a seriously high altitude mountain climbing expedition. This involves establishing a series of camps on the mountain, and movement up and down between camps to stock them with provisions and to acclimatize the body. Some routes require technical climbing proficiency in sections, and you must have gained such skills prior to the trip. An expedition is not a suitable undertaking for a novice to the Himalayas! We emphasize that you should be well aware of the risks and challenges, both physical and mental, that such adventures at high altitude present.
We are committed to providing you with the best quality of service and experience to help your expedition to be successful. However, this does mean that all climbing members must have had experience on expeditions at high altitude, preferably in the Himalayas. Each climber must be aware of the inherent risks of such an expedition – bad weather, injury, sickness and death – and understand that reaching a summit may not always be possible.
There will be a manager at base camp to assist the team and act as liaison between climbers and the Sherpas. All members will be assisted by our high quality Sherpa guides and porters. Our Nepalese mountain guides and climbing Sherpas are some of the most experienced in the world and will assist you as much as possible on your summit attempt.
