Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu:
Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, a representative from Kathmandu Summit Adventure will greet you and take you to your hotel. After checking in, you can rest or visit the Kathmandu Summit Adventure office. You may also want to explore the streets of Thamel, a popular tourist hub in Kathmandu, where you can shop for souvenirs. In the evening, a welcome dinner will be hosted by Kathmandu Summit Adventure, featuring delicious Nepalese cuisine that will give you a taste of the country’s authentic food culture. Overnight stay in Kathmandu. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu:
We tour Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath stupa and Bouddhanath stupa which are all world heritage sites. The Durbar Square sheds light on the life of the royals in ancient times. Pashupatinath temple is one of the most important places of pilgrimage for all Hindus. Swayambhunath is also known as the Monkey Temple and Baudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world. At noon, we are introduced to our fellow participants and discuss our trip at the Tour and Trekking Nepal office. Overnight in Kathmandu. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 03: Drive to Bandipur by Tourist Bus:
Early morning we take a tourist bus from Kathmandu to Bandipur which is at a distance of 148 km and takes about 4 hours. As we reach Bandipur we will be greeted by the loom of the Himalayan vista which includes Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhare, Langtang, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal. Today we will visit Bindabasini Temple, the temple of Khadga Devi and stroll around traditional Bandipur village. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Day Hike to Ramkot:
Early morning we enjoy with sunrise and mountain view. We start our hike uphill to the Magar village of Ramko to witness their tradition or lifestyle. If the weather is fair enough the village offers the phenomenal vista of Annapurna and Manaslu. In the evening we will explore Raniban. Stay overnight at Bandipur.
Day 05: Explore Siddha Cave – One of the biggest cave in Nepal:
Early in the morning after breakfast, we hike to Siddha cave following the dense forest for around two hours. This recently discovered cave is 437m long and 45 m high which makes it the largest cave in Asia. Further, trek down to Bimalnagar to witness the traditional Newar village. Drive back to Bandipur from Bimalnagar to hike back the same way to Bandipur.
Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus:
We transfer to the tourist bus station and 06: 30 am drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. This scenic drive offers fascinating glimpses of rural Nepal as you pass through Middle Hill scenery along the famous rafting Trishuli River originated from Tibet northeast of Kathmandu. Overnight stay in Kathmandu. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 07: Farewell friend and departure/Fly back home:
Our journey in Nepal comes to an end today! A Kathmandu Summit Adventure representative will drop us off at the airport approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight. On our way to home, we have plenty of time to plan our next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
