Itinerary
Kathmandu to Gosaikunda Lake:
We will transfer you to the Tribhuvan International Airport in the morning for the helicopter ride. Inside the helicopter, the pilot will give names of all the mountain ranges that’ll be visible from the top. As you slowly look outside, the captivating landscapes of the Kathmandu Valley and rivers will look astounding. Then, gradually we’ll fly over the Gosaikunda Lake and land over there. Upon landing near Gosaikunda Lake, you’ll be mesmerized by the pristine beauty of the lake. The lake is sacred and holds religious significance to mainly Hindus. During auspicious days, like Gangadashahara and the Janai Purnima, thousands of Hindu followers visit the lake to pray.
Gosaikunda to Kyanjin Gompa:
Now, we’ll head towards Kayanjin Gompa which is a small village. From this village, the views of glaciers, Langtang Lirung, Kimshung, and Langshisha Ri are visible. Around the Tamang village, there are also monasteries, schools, and cheese factories that you can visit.
Later, we will head back to the helicopter and fly back to Kathmandu.
